This forum aims to share best practices for accelerating adoption of innovative policies and technologies to decarbonize APEC economies. California plays a leading role in advancing first-of-kind policies and regulations for decarbonization and clean energy transition, and implementing innovative technologies and best available solutions into practice. World’s top-tier experts, business executives, government officials, and thought leaders will be invited to present at this forum. It will facilitate open dialogue and knowledge exchange among business owners, scholars and delegates from APEC economies on decarbonization strategies and how APEC regions can achieve an inclusive, equitable and resilient clean energy transition.

About the Organizers

  • The US-China Green Energy Council (UCGEC) is a U.S. non-profit organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since being founded in 2008, UCGEC is dedicated to developing a high-level international platform for dialogue and technology collaboration on addressing climate change and promoting green energy development in US, China and other APEC economies.
  • The APEC Sustainable Energy Center (APSEC) is the official specialized APEC center for promoting advanced ideas and models of sustainable energy development across the APEC region, and for facilitating cooperation among member economies through information exchange, policy dialogue, technology R&D, demonstration and dissemination, and capacity-building in the field of sustainable energy.
