The US-China Green Energy Council (UCGEC) is delighted to announce that 2022 International Green Energy Summit (The 14th US-China Green Energy Summit) will be held on December 1-3, 2022 (US Pacific Time). This 3-day hybrid event includes online sessions and in-person meetings

Dr. Robert E Larson, founding president of the US-China Green Energy Council (UCGEC) and former president of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), passed away peacefully at his home in California on Mar.10th 2022. He was 83.

  • Clean Energy Development on the Path Towards Carbon Neutrality

The 13th US-China Green Energy Summit will be held online on January 4-5, 2022 (US Time).

The theme of this year’s Summit will be “clean energy development on the path toward carbon neutrality”. We have invited world’s top energy experts to talk about the frontier technologies for clean energy development and discuss the challenges and opportunities on the path towards carbon neutrality.

U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry and China Special Envoy for Climate Change Xie Zhenhua met in Shanghai on April 15 and 16, 2021, to discuss aspects of the climate crisis. At the conclusion of the discussion, the two Special Envoys released the following: 

  • Green Energy Innovation and International Collaboration in the Post-Pandemic World

The Summit will be held virtually on Zoom on Dec. 4th – 6th, 2020 (US time). It is free and open to all, but registration is required.

The Summit will address how to achieve a sustainable recovery in the near term, as well as how to deal with challenges of climate change in the long run.

Two Nobel Laureates have confirmed to deliver keynote speeches at the Summit.
